GOD IS SO GOOD! We all made it to Cambodia safely!!

Thank you all for praying for protection and safety while we were traveling. We have settled into our first week here at the YWAM Battambang base. Our team just finished three days of teacher training for their upcoming English classes that start on Monday. I have been plugged into the gym on the base, helping them coach CrossFit classes. This is an amazing opportunity that has come up for me.  I’m learning from the coaches here how to be an encouraging coach and demonstrate the movements well to bridge the language barrier.

For me personally I am really enjoying getting used to the Cambodian culture and the community of people at the base. They are amazing. They have welcomed us all in with open arms and prepared the ground to start our ministry under the best possible conditions.

The following week starts with a Sunday morning service at the base followed by daily teaching and visiting villages around our province.

Please pray for us!

  • A lot of the students have a fear of teaching and leading a class. Pray for fear to be broken and that they would rely on God to give them confidence and boldness!

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline”  2 Timothy 1:7

  • No sickness on our team!
  • One  team member had to go to the hospital with chest pain and a possible panic attack. Pray that he would have no more pain and would feel the peace of the Lord come upon him.
  • Wisdom for Shane and I as we lead this team.  We desire to be in tune with the Holy Spirit and His direction.
  • Please pray Ephesians 6:10-19 over each of our team members

“Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.  For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”
