Hello Friends and Family,

As the start to the New Year has unfolded… I have come back to YWAM Kona to
serve as staff with “Respect the Corners” (https://www.respectthecorners.com/). This coming season,
I am interning and training to become a CrossFit coach, learning
how to disciple people through the avenue of fitness. My schedule is filled
with times of training, prayer, coaching development, intercession for the
lost and the nations that need Jesus.

It has been so amazing being back. I had the privilege to move into a new
apartment complex with three of my close friends.

I felt the Lord saying some specific words He has placed on my heart during this journey
here in Kona:

Steadfast: “resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering” The Lord
reminded me that His promises never to change. Our Lord is
unchanging and His Love for us is never going to leave us. Its STEADFAST. I
also feel like the Lord is calling me into a season of being steadfast in
prayer. Never failing to thank Him for His faithfulness, but continue to
press and pray for more of His glory in our lives and in the lives of
those around us.
   – Trust: I feel like the Lord is reminding me to always trust in Him
throughout any circumstance or situation. To say
“I trust God knows best and trust Him to be faithful in every
situation I face…” is easy but sometimes I am caught with an uncertainty in my mind.
That’s why I know God is asking me to work in this area to grow stronger.
I need to fully surrender all my desires and plans and know that God knows best.

The last couple of days the Lord has given me a new confidence in who He
has created me to be and reminded me that feelings of insecurity and being ashamed are not from Him.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I
praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are
wonderful, I know that full well.”   -Psalm 139:13-14

I am so excited and joyfully expectant of all the Lord has in this next season of life for me.
God is so faithful in all we do and continues to pursue our hearts.

Please let me know and fill me in on all that the Lord is doing in your
lives.

-Blessings

Prayer requests:

-energy to focus and study for upcoming training tests

-finding a balance between studying/training times as well as investing in
relationships around me

-that the new students on campus would be so filled up with God’s love and
peace
